Rochester: March 23, 2014 at age 101. She is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas; daughter, Rita L. Sweet; son, Paul; 4 sisters, Marie, Anna, Cecilia and Lillian; 3 brothers, Stephen, Frank and Andrew. Survived by her son-in-law, Bernard Sweet; grandchildren, Betty (Mark) Stevens, JoAnn (Fred) DeBuck, Culleen (Robert) Zachmeyer; great-grandchildren, Crystal (John) Dolan, Jessica DeBuck, Monica and Brandon Stevens; several nieces and nephews.
Rita's family would like to thank the staff at the Hurlbut Home for their loving and compassionate care.
Friends may attend her Memorial Service, Saturday March 29, 2014 at 11:30 am at Peace of Christ Parish at St. James, 130 Brett Rd., Rochester, NY 14609. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
