Virginia Vandewetering
September 18, 1934 — June 18, 2017
Pittsford: Passed peacefully Sunday, June 18, 2017 at age 82. She is survived by her brother, sister, 2 nieces, a nephew and beloved rescue cat, Woogee.
Virginia was a 1956 graduate of the Rochester General Hospital Nursing Program. She worked 10 years for Visiting Nurse Service and also worked as the school nurse for 20+ years at Nazareth College before retiring. She was an active member of St. Josaphat's Church and enjoyed preparing festival foods.
Special thanks to the Herbison family for all of their help.
There will be no prior calling. A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Thursday, June 22, 2017 at St. Josaphat's Church, 940 Ridge Road East. Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park.
