Gates - Passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 74.
Born in Buffalo, NY to the late Eunice Owens & Walter R. Cook Sr. Predeceased by his brother, Robert; sisters, Wilma (Terry) Eldridge, Nancy (Robert)DeMarco, & brother-in-law, Jimmie Collins; card buddy, Louise MacNeil; & precious canine companion, Jewels.
He is survived by his son, Scott; granddaughter, Amber; brother, Norman (Diane) Cook; sisters, Shirley Collins, Barb (Jim) Bork, & Kathy (Irv) Brooks; sister-in-law, Debbie Cook; loving companion, Joyce Wagstaff; many nieces, nephews, & friends.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Baratz and staff, Units 4100 & 4200 at Unity Hospital, Sue & Sheryl at Rochester Regional Pallative Care & Hildebrandt Hospice Care.
Family & friends are invited to a Memorial Service at 2:00pm Sunday, February 25, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
