He is survived by his wife, Lois of 66 years; daughter, Joan (Mike) Ayotte; son, Walter Steinmetz Jr.; grandchildren, Michele Nennie, Debbie Sue Knoedl, Mike (Cindy) Ayotte Jr.; 8 great-grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, Heather, Shayna, Kendra, Mike III, Myndi and Danny; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Selena and Emiliano.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 16th from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where a brief Funeral Service will be held at 3 PM. Private Interment.
