Walter S. Ulinski, born near Utica, New York, lived a full and meaningful life defined by love of family, dedication to his country, a successful career, and a passion for travel and adventure.

Walt’s life story included a love story that began while he was attending college in Potsdam, New York, where he met Janet, his beloved wife of 63 years. Together, they built a lifetime of memories, shared experiences, and enduring love.

Walt was a proud and devoted father and grandfather who treasured time spent with his family. He took great joy in watching his family grow and in sharing life’s special moments with those he loved. He also valued his friendships and the many meaningful relationships he developed throughout his life.

A man of deep patriotism, Walt was proud of his military service in the United States Army, including three years in the Army Reserves. He served during the Vietnam conflict, answering his country’s call with dedication and a strong sense of duty. He graduated from Clarkson College of Technology and was in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).

Walt enjoyed a long 30-year career at Eastman Kodak, where he worked as a System Analyst. Following his retirement, he and Jan embraced a new chapter filled with travel and adventure. Together, they explored the world, experienced different cultures, and created treasured memories in the many places they visited.

At home, Walt was a loyal New York Yankees fan who enjoyed following his favorite baseball team. Whether traveling the world with Jan, spending time with family and friends, or cheering on the Yankees, he appreciated the simple pleasures and special moments that made life rewarding.

Walt will be remembered for his devotion to Jan, his love for his children and grandchildren, his pride in his military service, and his curiosity about the world around him. His life was enriched by the people he loved, the career he dedicated himself to, and the adventures he shared with his wife of 63 years.

He will be deeply missed by Jan, his family, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.

May he rest in peace, surrounded by the lasting love and memories of those whose lives he touched.
