Rochester - Passed away on March 4, 2023 at the age of 93.
Predeceased by his wife, Mary; siblings, Marilyn (Ken) DeMent, Robert, William, George, Donald; sister-in-law, Jean (Tony)Sciarabba.
He is survived by his siblings, Kenneth (Teresa) Whitney, Neta Seever, & Richard (Penny) Redder; many nieces, including special nieces, Janine Sciarabba, Laurie Gately, & Jordan Gately; nephews, Richard (Patty) Redder, Craig (Stacey) Ranney, Tony (Teri) Sciarabba, & Kenny Whitney; many cousins, including, special cousin, Sam (Beverly) Victorious; sisters-in-law, Carol Whitney, Ruby Whitney, Ruth Whitney, & Linda Whitney; many extended family & friends.
He was a proud Korean Veteran who served in the United States Airforce for 4 years. Walter was a Supervisor at Eastman Kodak for 34 years and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family will receive friends 4 - 8 PM Thursday, March 9, 2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where his Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, March 10, 2023. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
