Irondequoit: Passed peacefully surrounded by loving family Wednesday February 27, 2013 at age 74. Predeceased by his father, Harold and son, Wayne Jr. He is survived by his mother, Alice; loving wife, Sharon; children, Cheryl (Bill) O'Connell, Gary (Chris) Spies, Lori Keenan (Paul Cowan), Cindy (Alan) Parsons, Kelly Goulden, Annette Carpenter, John (Andrea) Pratt and Tina Goulden; grandchildren, Shawn (Sareena) O'Connell, Katelynn O'Connell, Ryan Spies, Matthew Spies, Savannah Carpenter, Donny Keenan, Tara (Grayson) Mullis, Zac Keenan, Taylor Balles, Cooper Parsons; and many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Savanah, Jianna, Jayden, Jazzlynn, Alexa, Xavier, CJ, Aidan and Aubree; special friend, Dan "The Kid" Gardner.

Wayne was an Army Veteran, Past Commander and member of the American Legion. He was a Foreman with the Town of Irondequoit Parks and Recreation. Wayne's love of gardening, woodworking and his animals will always be remembered. Special thanks to the Dialysis Unit at Unity Hospital and Lifetime Care Hospice for their loving care.

Family will receive friends 3-7 PM Wednesday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private interment, Irondequoit Cemetery.
