Gates - Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 28, 2018 at the age of 76.
Predeceased by his first wife, Lorraine.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Lisa (Mark) Cantor, Wayne Jr. (Randi), Terri (Mike) Finlayson, & Julie (Aaron) Verstraete; 10 grandchildren, Rachel & Jennifer Cantor, Cole, Jesse, & Sydney Romano, Fiona & Julien Finlayson, Zoe, Eva, & Maia Verstraete; siblings, Russell (Gillian) & Marlene Galbraith; many nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Wayne was the Owner and Operator of Master Car Care who served his many loyal customers throughout the years.
Family will receive friends 3 - 8 PM Thursday, November 1, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Service will be held 11:30 AM Friday, November 2, 2018 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2000 Highland Ave. Interment at Ascension Garden Cemetery , 1900 Pinnacle Rd.
