Mosher, William A.
Rochester: Today we do not mourn, but rejoice. For our loved one—husband, father, grandfather, hero-no longer suffers. Freed from the disease that held him so long, he has gone home to be with the Lord.
William was born November 26, 1924 in Rathbone NY. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Alta and Alfred, and older brother Raymond.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Fay, daughters Rhonda (Scott) Penders and Nicole (Peter) D'Arienzo, loving grandsons Ian, Brennan and Cameron Penders and Wyatt and Colton D'Arienzo, special sister-in-law Lavina Mosher, several dear nieces, nephews and countless friends.
William was a Kodak employee for 25 years and retired in 1986. Not one to be idle, he quickly became employed by Tops markets and then Medical Motor Service of Rochester for 11 years. He coached junior bowling during his Kodak years and repaired clocks as a hobby for more than 50 years. Bill never met a stranger, only people who weren't friends yet, and he never met an animal he couldn't charm.
Friends and family may attend his memorial service Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11 AM at The Friendly Home, 3156 East Avenue. Private interment.
