This is where he met Barbara. They began dating soon after, she was 15, he was 16, and the rest is history!
After graduation, Bill was drafted into the United States Army, serving in the Artillery Battalion in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart for being wounded in service to his country. Upon returning from service, Bill married his high school sweetheart Barbara on November 25, 1967.
Family was the most important part of life for Bill; some of the best times were spent celebrating life's events with his family. They laughed, told stories, and loved each other always.
