Passed peacefully Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at age 76 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his son, Edward. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Gail; daughter, Cindy Ruta (James Tripoli); grandchildren, Deana Ruta, Louis Ruta (Rachael), Courtney Ruta (Zach) Bolton, Colleen O'Dell; great-grandchildren, Michael Ruta-Kryger, Cynthia Bolton, Tori Bolton; brothers, Robert (Elizabeth), Jerry (Elsie) and several nieces and nephews.
Bill was a US Navy Veteran and was an employee of Valley Cadillac for 25 years.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 18th from 3-6 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where a Service with full military honors will follow calling hours at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Bill's name to House of Mercy, 725 Hudson Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621. To share a
