Passed away unexpectedly February 4, 2022 at the age of 83.
Bill was born in Rochester NY.
Survived by his beloved fiancée, Sc B. McKinney; daughters, Victoria (Keith Kogler) Gordon, Heather (Michael) Bonadonna, & Jennie (George) Steele; 5 grandchildren; & 2 great grandchildren.
Bill served honorably in the US Army & was assigned to HHC Joint Communications Agency. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He was selected Outstanding Agency Member & Outstanding Soldier of the Year at Fort Ritchie. He earned College Equivalency Diploma & completed additional courses at University of Maryland, Rochester Institute of Technology.
He initially started work for Haloid Xerox Corporation in 1960 & was rehired by Xerox Corporation in 1963 after his military service. He was also Division Multinational Representative & retired from Xerox Corporation in an Executive Management position of Major Programs Manager in 1993.
Bill has been a member of the Elks Lodge 1763 for over 35 years & served as Chaplain for 15 years. He was also a member of The American Legion Post 1151.
He formed a Special Handicapped Group with support of the Al Sigl Center, Women's Club of Webster, Chamber of Commerce, & area Businesses.
Bill was an avid fisherman & Boater
He moved to Florida in 1997 & also resided in Sodus, NY. Bill also had duel citizenship with Ireland.
Services will be Saturday February 12, 4 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. Calling hours immediately following until 7 PM. Burial will take place at a later date.
