William J. "Bill" Leckinger

William John Leckinger (Bill) 66 yrs, passed away on 1/16/2024 at his home in Rochester, NY. He was the husband to Norma Leckinger. They shared 30 yrs together.

Born and raised in Greece, NY. He was the son to John and Pat Leckinger. He attended and graduated from Greece Athena High School. He retired from General Motors where he worked for 30 years.

He belonged to Holy Apostles Church in Rochester, NY. He had many hobbies and passions in his life. His family, fishing and he was a life long dedicated fan of the Buffalo Bills.

Bill is survived by his wife Norma Leckinger. Son, Justin Leckinger; daughter, Mellisa Stroup; son's, Benjamin and Joshua Worrells. Grandsons, Nathan, Joshua, Nicholas, little William "Will", Tommy and Austin; granddaughters, Taya, Trinity and Ashley; Son-in-law and fishing buddy Aaron Stroup; daughter-in-law Nikki; Sisters; Barb Hagen, Kathy Collins and Marge Gutman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Family and friends may call 3-5pm Friday, January 26, 2024 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (GREECE LOCATION). A funeral service will be held at 5pm.

In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin St, Rochester, NY 14606 in memory of Bill.
