Auer, William P. (Bill)
Irondequoit: Peacefully on January 21, 2012 at age 78. Predeceased by his parents, Wilhelm and Charlotte Auer. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda (Briggs) Auer; children, Sondra (Douglas) Vorndran and William D. Auer; grandchildren, Michael, Amberlee and Zachary Richards, and Douglas J. Vorndran; sister, Judith (Paul) Kepner; in-laws, Daniel and Norma Briggs; sisters-in-law, Diane (Michael) McEwen and Kathy Briggs; brother-in-law, David Briggs; several nieces, nephews and cousins. William served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-58. A special thank you to the 7000 Unit at Rochester General Hospital and Kirkhaven Nursing Home for their special and professional care.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday 11 AM at the funeral home. Private Interment, South Perinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, Laurelton Fire Department or the Irondequoit Volunteer Ambulance.
