Winifred was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Sidney, and her beloved son, Rick. Survived by two sons, Dennis (Marilyn) of Fremont, CA; Curtis (Diane) of Rochester, NY; Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren – Matthew (Lindsay) daughter Ryann Grace of Charlotte, NC; Austin (Lisa) of Fremont, CA; Erin of Fremont, CA; Adam (Elizabeth) son Andrew Curtis of Rochester, NY; sister Grace(Richard) Carter; brother Darrell (Sharon) all of Utah; nieces, nephews and devoted canine companion, Maggie Moo.
Winifred was born in the small farming community of Trenton, Utah February 20, 1925. Part of the "Greatest Generation" she worked for the war effort on both coasts while Sid was in the merchant marines. After the war, they returned to Utah and where they worked and ran Sid's family farm for many years.
Opportunity lead them to Denver, CO where they lived for over 50 years, during which time she worked at Colorado State Bank where she rose to V.P. of Personnel.
Winifred and Sid relocated to Rochester, NY in 2004. They traveled extensively prior to Sid's passing in 2006. Winifred was an avid gardener, voracious reader, talented seamstress and expressed her creativity through her passion for needle work. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
