Rochester: Passed peacefully surrounded by loving family on April 5, 2012 at age 93. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Antoinette (Angelo); daughters, Margaret Samsel, Renee (Greg) Samsel-Spacher, Kimberly (Frances) Samsel-Falzone; grandchildren, Colleen Foley, Tammy (Tom) Gogal, Tina (Rick) Jackson, Scott (Amy) Foley; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; many loving nieces and nephews.
Woodrow was a WW II Veteran, a retiree of Kodak after 35 years of shift work and a member of the American Legion Post 468.
Family will receive friends 4-8 PM Friday, April 13th at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM Saturday at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave. Private Family Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL. 32256
