Zoe Bond

Zoe Lannon English Bond, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026 at the age of 91.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Gladys English, her sister Isabel and brother-in-law, Eugene Rogers; mother-in-law, Jean Kinnear; sister-in-law, June Carlson, and brother-in-law, Earl Carlson.

Zoe is survived by her beloved husband Dale of 67 years, her children, Erin (Steve) Rebholz, David Bond, and Kristina Ashmead; her cherished grandchildren, Sarah (Diego), Kathryn (Bolan), Elena, Meghan, Claire, Joseph, Shawn (Taylor), Kyle (Allie); two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Karen (John) Popowych and several nieces and nephews.

Zoe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She brought kindness, love and joy to everyone who knew her. She attended East High School and played violin in the inter-high orchestra at the Eastman School of Music.

Zoe was an avid reader, and enjoyed knitting, baking, and winning at Euchre – especially when her husband Dale was her opponent.

She felt blessed to spend quality time with her family and friends in her three favorite places; her summers sitting outside the fireplace at her cottage in the Adirondacks, her winters later in life playing beanbag baseball in Florida, and the rest of the year in Rochester.
